Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Most postures are in either a sitting or lying position and they are held for a little longer. You will feel lengthened and relaxed after this class. Yin and Yang tissues respond quite differently to being exercised. You need to experience this to really know what Yin Yoga is all about. This is a 1 hour class and we have a reduced cost for this class to $15 for a casual visit (or book a 4 or 10 class pass to save).
