Hatha Yoga is based on more traditional yoga and is a great general-level class which is open to all levels. Hatha yoga class begins with gradually opening and loosening the body, followed by Vinyasa (movement through postures) , and holding classical yoga postures for a length of time.
We also incorporate forward and backward bends, twists, inversions, expansion of breath and meditation. Hatha Yoga is suitable for all levels, including mothers, grandmothers, people recovering from trauma or injury, or anybody wanting an easy-going yoga class.
We offer a variety of Hatha Yoga classes. All of these can be attended on a casual basis ($20) or you can purchase a 4 or 10 class pass and use the pass to attend the Hatha class of choice.
Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites. You will feel rejuvenated after attending this class. A great class to reduce stress levels at the end of the day. All levels of fitness welcome.
Please be at the studio approximately 10 minutes prior to start time, so you can sign in and settle on the Mat to enjoy your class
