After discovering her passion for instructing yoga in 2005, Michelle chose to leave her law career to focus fulltime on sharing yoga with others. Michelle has extensive training all over the world. Styles practiced and studied include Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga, Anusara, Acro, Kundalini, Kids, Teens and Tweens, Pre- and Post-natal, Power/Flow/Vinyasa and Jivamukti. In pursuit of a broad range of styles and wisdom, Michelle has done numerous workshops with world-renowned yogi’s including Sharon & David (Jivamukti), John Friend, Rusty Wells, David Williams, and Baron Baptiste.
Michelle founded her own Yoga school in Amsterdam where she taught group classes and private clients wanting more individual results. She has also taught at wellness centres, gyms, charity events and for corporate clients. Her clients range from very male full contact martial artists to radiant pregnant women and children.
Michelle believes that each one of us is unique and that Yoga can be for everybody. You can expect aspects of Yoga Philosophy, Pranayama and most importantly having fun while sweating and being still.
Michelle doesn’t believe in ‘doing’ Yoga, we are all trying our best to ‘be’ our own uniquely wonderful brand of Yoga. Her wish is to simply assist you on that path.
