Bernadette did her Yoga Teacher training with IYTA, just to learn more about how it worked, and have enjoyed teaching classes since 2004. She took her first yoga class about 2001, it was recommended by a friend who thought it may help me as she was suffering with fibromyalgia, she was right! Yoga helped her find the balance she needed to cope, she was hooked. The power she saw and felt in relaxation, lead me to do further studies, a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Certificate in Yoga Therapy. Her classes usually start with calming the body & mind then build up to a flow so the prana (energy) can be released, then wind down to a guided relaxation or meditation. “Over the years I have seen yoga help so many people with such a wide range of issues, the benefits physically, mentally & emotionally are well documented, the feeling of wellbeing though, that is priceless”.
