If you are wanting to join Pilates and have not partaken before this could be the class for you. Pilates concentrates on strengthening your core, stability, and overall strength and well being. You will notice the difference in body tone and strength in no time. Pilates is great for strengthening weak backs.
Pilates (or the Pilates method) is a series of about 500 exercises inspired by yoga, ballet and calisthenics. Pilates lengthens and stretches all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion. It improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.
This 10 week course builds from beginner level to intermediate using mat work, balls, bands and isolating exercises to improve core stability and fitness. Jo takes this 10-week course commencing Tuesday 5th February 5.30pm – 6.30pm. Health Fund Rebates may apply
