Saturday Morning Pilates- Fitness/Core/Pelvic Floor – Term 2 2019


Are you wishing to tighten and tone your Core Pelvic Floor, or improve a weak back?

In Pilates, your muscles are never worked to exhaustion, so there is no sweating or straining, just intense concentration. The workout consists of a variety of exercise sequences that are performed in low repetitions, over a session of 50 minutes. After each set of exercises the muscles are stretched to allow for recovery. Pilates consists of moving through a slow, sustained series of exercises using abdominal control and proper breathing. The quality of each posture is more important than the number of repetitions or how energetically you can move.

You will notice the difference after this 8 week course. Specific exercises are introduced to benefit all those areas that need to be toned and strengthened. Pilates 8-week course commencing Saturday 4th May (8.00am – 9.00am). $145-

Alex’s expertise in Physiology and PT will have you working to your best ability.  He uses a variety of isometric exercises, mat work and bands to explore your edge and improve overall strength and stability.   8-week course commencing Saturday 4th May (8.00am – 9.00am). $145

Note there will be no class on the long weekend in June (8th June)
